Reading a hockey scoreboard for fantasy
A hockey night is short and most of it matters. The score is the headline, but the number a fantasy manager reads first is shots on goal: a club that put 38 pucks on net and lost 2-1 had the night its skaters' stat lines will show, and a club that won 3-2 on 19 shots leaned on its goalie. Each card here carries the score, the period and clock while a game is live, the final type when it ends in overtime or a shootout, and both clubs' shot totals, refreshed through the night. The full game sheet, every skater's line and every goalie's saves with fantasy points worked out in your scoring, comes once the game-sheet feed is built, and this page will say so rather than show a number it does not have.

Overtime and the shootout
A game that ends in overtime or a shootout is marked as such on the card. It matters for the standings rail: the losing club still takes a point, which is why a record reads W-L-OTL and the points column, not the win total, orders the table. Regulation wins are the first tiebreaker, which is what the ROW figure on the standings page counts.
Goalie decisions
A goalie earns the win or the loss only if he was in net for the deciding goal, so a starter pulled after two periods of a comeback can take the loss while the backup who finished takes nothing. A category league that counts wins cares about the goalie of record more than the save total, and that line arrives with the game sheet.
Where the numbers go next
Tonight's results feed the player pages and the rankings refresh once the projections do. The injury report is where a player who left a game early shows up next morning.
