Unsigned status here means one thing only: the player has no professional team. That is not the same as your league's waiver pool, which depends entirely on what the other managers in your league have rostered — and this list also sweeps in players who are no longer active at all. A tool that answers "who is actually free in my league" needs to read your league's rosters, which requires connecting a league; that is a separate future tool, not this page. What “unsigned” actually means

This page answers a narrow question honestly rather than a broad one badly. It lists every player in the pro pool who currently has no team beside his name, and reports the only things data can say about such a player: what the projection sources still expect of him, what he scored last season if he was among the top scorers, and how many managers added him in the last day.

Most of these names have no projected value, and that is the finding. MustDraft value exists only for players the independent projection sources still forecast — a few hundred names deep at most. An unsigned player carrying any value is unusual: the sources still expect production from a player with no team, which is exactly the signal worth chasing ahead of a rumoured signing. A blank is not missing data; it is every source declining to forecast him. Most of this list is practice-squad bodies, camp invitees, and veterans whose careers have quietly ended, and no ranking can dress that up.

Adds are the sharper signal here

Add counts come from real league activity across a very large sample, and they move faster than projections do. A player with thousands of adds and no projected value is usually a fresh piece of news — a signing, a depth-chart change, a starter going down ahead of him. That is why the hot pickups module only shows the overlap: players genuinely unsigned and being picked up in numbers. When it says the wire is quiet, believe it.

What this page cannot tell you

It cannot tell you who is free in your league. A twelve-team league rosters roughly a hundred and eighty players out of a pool of three thousand, so your real waiver wire is full of players who very much have a pro team and simply went undrafted. Use this page for the job it does well: checking whether a genuinely unsigned player still carries projected value before you spend a roster spot on a rumoured signing.
